I guess thoughts caused by spoilers if you haven’t watched it yet? I’ll throw my dumb thought after the jump, I suppose.

Kinja'd!!!

All I could think during it was “I should import/find a first-gen Celica”. Yeah, I know that’s not what was in the video, but damn, old Japanese cars are cool.

That, or I eventually throw a 2.3 litre Ecoboost into a first gen fastback Mustang.

I really want a liftback Celica. I also want to try and shoehorn a 1UZ or supercharged 2GR in there.

I wish they did more shenanigans in Japan.

The more exposure the better I supposed. Friend and I already decided we are priced out of the market from these cars. If anything happens chances are it will be difficult to justify getting back into them.

Curious what they will end up doing with that. Australia is home to the RB30 and the Barra after all.

Great viddy. Good to see another Z, what a great looking car. Particularly while doing skids. And the Beat is damn cool too. Those boys have come a long way

Unpopular (maybe) opinion: Beat > Fairlady

That Fairlady is still a quintessential 70s Japanese car though. But Beat.

I think those first gen celicas have a true classic 70s muscle car look, but without the mass of the US versions, and without the waste of the v8.

I’ve often thought that if I were a bit older the celica would likely have been my dream car
